Morgan told me all about the tag thing last night at the pool. We had lot's of fun with wittle weah. She looked so cute in her swimming suit. Hopefully it will become a tradition to swim on Thursday nights. So here are my answers. This is going to take forever, hopefully Esme will sleep through the whole thing.
1. Who do you love? Well, I guess I'm supposed to love everyone. But there are times when I could really use the word hate. Like when my neighbor puts a big yellow garbage bin in front of my house so he can cut his trees down. Why can't it go in front of his own house? I do love my family the most. I love Josh because he can make me laugh even when I am seething about the neighbor. I love Kelsie because she has been through it all with me. I love Hannah for her goofy grins. I love Jonas because he says the cutest things. I love Maren because of her own unique behavior and her new cry. I love Esme because she is still so very innocent. I love my Y.W. because they make me feel young. I love my extended family because we have so much fun together playing games, going on trips, laughing at each others stories and views, and for long distance phone calls.
2. How long have you been married? This one is hard for me. Josh always keeps track of the years. I would have to go look at my paper work to find out the year, then I would have to add it up and that is not on the list to take care of today. I will make an educated guess, 11 yrs.? I can figure this out! Kelsie was three when we got married and now she is fifteen so that would make 12 yrs, yikes!
3. How long did you date? Josh and I dated for about three months before we got married, but we new each other a lot longer.
4. I mixed up 3 and 4! Who said "I love you" first? Josh did! After we had been dating for about a week. We were sitting on my couch watching a movie (Star Trek: The Next Generation, I think) and he just blurted it out. Then he said, "I didn't mean to say that". Talk about strange! I was very confused!
5. Where did he propose? Behind the Lion House. We walked around Temple Square for a very long time. I got the hint that he was very nervous and was looking for the perfect spot, but it took forever! There were lots of flowers and a nice wooden bench. He started talking to me in Swedish. When he stopped, he just stared at me. I said something like did you just ask me to marry you? Please say it in English!
6. Who is taller? This one is a given! Does anyone need clarification?
7. Who is smarter? I am changing to who has the most common sense and who has the best sense of direction? Me :)
8. Who does the laundry? Josh did it while I was at girls camp last summer, there were alot of ruined clothes. I said, "Couldn't you have done the dishes or vacuumed instead"! Speaking of the laundry, I should be doing it right now, oh boy, I'm going to really get behind.
9. Who pays the bills? About a month ago I made Josh show me how he does all the computer bill pay stuff. You must be prepared for anything.
10. Who mows the lawn? Kelsie, I am obviously not a perfectionist! I do like what it looks like when I cut it diagonally. Nobody else does it that way.
11. Who cooks dinner? There are lots of people who can cook at my house. On the weekends it might even be someone from outside of the house who cooks dinner. We will miss Andrew's pizza!
12. Who drives? Josh, most of the time! But he drives me nuts. He drives so slow, and always misses our turns or exits.
13. I will tag my cousin Lorena and my sister-in-law Liz? Answer the questions on your blog or change them to suit yourself!

Temple Square!
This past weekend, Josh took the kids on an Elder's Quorum activity to Temple Square. They toured the Conference Center and saw the Joseph Smith movie.
I asked Jonas when he got back if he had fun and he said that he had up until the part of the movie. He said it was sad, and I guess the parts where Satan comes into the picture were a little creepy. He is still talking about it, I guess we need to view the church movies now a days before we let our kids see them.

Esme and Leah!
The girls looked so adorable on Sunday that we thought we would get some photos. Easier said than done! I think there were about five of us calling out their names trying to get them both to look up at the same time. Leah was very interested in Essie's hand.
Leah tipping over!
Blue Eyes!
You always get some interesting phots when Andrew is involved!Monday, April 21, 2008

The Biggest Wooser!
I have wanted to do this for a while. I would like for everyone to know how the family biggest loser is going. It is now down to three contestants, I believe. We have decided that it is about a healthier lifestyle. Not just about losing weight. But as we all know that with living a healthier lifestyle comes a better body. That is the reward not the goal! I would like for the fam to know so that we have support where ever we go. The beginning of our journey is almost over. We have decided to weigh in every week now and to make healthy goals once a week now. The goal for this week was to exercise four times a week. Difficult to say the least, but we would like for this to become a lifetime habit! Just to post our success Sara has lost 5 lbs, I am at 12 lbs., and Josh is at a whopping 16 lbs. Isn't it great! We started back at the begining of the year, but we have really only been trying for the last week. I think it is great and hope that in the long run I will live healthier. No Diabetes, No High Blood Pressure, No Heart Disease! I really don't want the things that run in my family. I am changing the cycle. Hopefully Josh and Sara won't mind the world announcement!

Essie!
So I was told last night that Essie has rolled over twice! She goes from her stomach to her back. Josh said it was a total surprise, even to Esme! How dare she roll over for Josh and Kelsie. I am home all day and all nights except for Tuesday and she rolls while I am gone. How disagreeable of her. Well, lets just say we are working hard at it this week.
I love the "Quiet Book"!
Essie sat and played with the quiet book for about a half hour last night. The handles are particularly delicious!!
