I only captured three of the five for their first day of school. Well, technically this was only Jonas' first day of school. Hannah started the Friday before and Maren only met her teacher this day. Why can't they all go on the same day?
Jonas' school always has the red carpet out for the kids to walk on with their class the first day. The news was even there. Maren was highly disappointed she was not among the stars this day.
You might be wondering why the Jazz bear is hanging out at the ball field, well I guess he was doing some advertising. He is the craziest mascot I have ever seen!
Josh's work had a party at the ballpark. We had lots of fun taking Banner and Nana with us for a little "Take me out to the Ballpark".
Hannah turned 12 back in May and it has been the busiest of summers, so here we are at the Jordan Temple for her first trip!

This August, I also ran my first 5K since before Hannah was born. It was at Sugarhouse Park and was very fun.
Marie and Sara went with me and I have to say that they were the one pushing me. So I am so glad that they came along. I think I will make this one an annual thing. Free 5K, free breakfast, and free shirt!
I am still working on running an entire 5K. At this point I am about half there. I hope to be there by the end of the year and start training for a 10K next summer.
Sheesh, don't laugh. I just finished a 5K.
