These pics are from the last few days of our visit to Bourgogne! We visited some chateaus and had fabulous food. This is Chateauneuf, very old.
It rained most of the days we were in France. Nice , cool, light rain.Nana, Bridgette, and myself (it is so weird to post pictures of me).
It was fun to think about what went on in these rooms. Wars, dances, lovers quarrels.
Whoever built this one liked a big blaze.
Alli and J.P. were such excellent hosts that we never wanted to leave.
Inside Chateauneuf!
I picked this room, I loved the toile walls and linens.
The floors! Very grand!
I loved the foliage in France. I saw quite a few of the same plants that we have in Utah! Much more lush and beautiful there. You never saw dirt, every space was filled with plants.
Chateau de Commarin!
A real moat! Most of the moats were not full of water.
The churches and cathedrals were one of my favorites.
Chateau Pommard! Most of the time I was eating it I didn't even realize it. I loved in in some sort of sauce that we had a wonderful place with John Paul.

Not only were the desserts in France tasty, they were works of art!
