Fall Pictures!

This was just before Halloween. We took the kids to a hay maze at a local nursery that Morgan found. The kids had a great time running through the maze.

One time we let Maren lead all of us through and we kept having to back up and turn around, which was a little difficult for me and Josh considering there was limited space.

Halloween!

Halloween night just before trick-or treating! Dad, Shelley, Morgan, and Leah accompanied them . I will just say that Maren was the last to come home with her candy bag dragging the ground!

Maren hated her costume the first time she put it on. Then she started hearing people say how cute she is and she decided she liked it!

Jonas was so sick on Halloween, he made it half way around the block and had to come home.

The Great Race!

Today was the great Turkey Trot at the elementary school. Jonas has been talking about it for weeks, and Hannah has been preparing on the treadmill. To help with fitness the school decided to have the kids run around the playground. Jonas had to run 1/4 mile and Hannah had to do 1/2 mile. Kindergarten went first: Jonas took off like a rocket and made it the whole way. Way to go! The 3rd graders were gearing up by doing jumping jacks, and just before the race Hannah got hit in the eye by a flying hand. It was a bit of a discouragement, but she went to the starting line. When the whistle blew she took off like a rocket also. Mom was at the finish line waiting for the big picture. While waiting mom noticed Hannah and her good friend Mariah come walking in off the grass. Hannah was crying and Mariah was giving lots of support. It seems in the excitement to win another girl decided to give Hannah a big shove. So with sore hands and grass stains Hannah will still receive her reward.

This may look like like Maren had some yummy toast and jam, but she had actually spent a few minutes in Kelsie's bedroom with lipstick.

This photo is from Jonas' first day of school. It is about two months old.

We are staying in Salt Lake again this year for Thanksgiving, and hope to be healthy.
