We found this little chicken in the coop and thought her legs were so cute we would photograph them. These photos were from about a week ago and she now has chicken thighs. I guess it is in the genes.

Jonas has gone back to school this week after being so sick with a cold last week. It was a crazy morning and I forgot to put a note into his backpack. I got a call from his teacher this afternoon. She said that as he was running into class this morning that she said to him, "We missed you Jonas, where were you?" Jonas' reply was, "Well, my dad flipped out and we had to take care of him." I was nearly on the floor laughing. She said that she asked him a little later where he was again and he said that he was sick throwing up. A little closer to the truth!

The Photo Shoot!

Uncle Alan shot a few pictures just before the blessing. I was not too happy, but very photogenic.
You can really see the beautiful little blue roses my Aunt Lizzie made in this picture.
I had such a great day with all of my family!

Blessed Are The Meek!

Today was Essie's blessing day. She looked so beautiful in her antique gown made by the talented hand of Aunt Elizabeth. Her dress was was made of lawn cotton, with lace trim. The gown was embelished with entre-deux and blue boullion roses.
Esme was wrapped in the pretty pink afghan that Aunt Jennifer made. She looked so lovely as her dad gave her a name and a blessing surrounded by her uncles and ward members. Thanks to all who came and participated.

Esme's Shower!

This is just what I thought was going to be a little YW shower where the girls would give me something that they had made. Little did I know that Sara had met up with Yuriko (my counselor) and had planned a really nice shower with family and ward members. I was so suprised to walk in and see Kylie holding Leah. I said to myself, "I know that baby". I looked over and saw Morgan and Sara sitting there.
This is the cake that Kelsie and Erika decorated for me. It turned out really nice.
My YW just had a cake decorating night, and I think they did a wonderful job!
This happened at home when we were going through all of the presents. Let's just say Leah had a little to much cake!
