Kelsie's 18th Birthday!

We love having so much family and friends involved in our kids birthdays.
Whit did a very fine job on decorating this cake! It was so delicious too!

No one got to help with the blowing out of the candles!

She got the first bite, not really! She prefers to not have frosting with her cake, so her piece got scraped off!

She got a wool coat for her birthday, that didn't fit. No more shopping without her! We took her this weekend and found one that was just as cute.

1 hour massage!

She can pull this cute shirt off, I know i couldn't!

Slanky!

Ikea card!

A beauty of a ring from Sara!

The party goers!

Kelsie earned her YW medallion last week. It is hard to see it in this photo, but it's there. I thought the flowers were a nice touch.

Here is the skirt that she made for her Individual Worth project! Thank goodness for Liz and her sewing know how! Erika is finished too, and it looks very nice. She will be getting her medallion very soon. It was a long four years working with these girls on personal progress, but after hearing them both speak about it at New Beginning's, I am so glad that they both finished.
It was also Hannah's first New Beginning.

I really need some help with my blog!

When Whit or Morgan get here, I need them to show me how to organize this blog! Pictures all over and out of order is driving me nuts. The cake up top is one Jonas made for blue and gold. He had a bit of help from all of us in the decor! We had bags of frosting bursting all over the place. The one right is our Valentine cake we made for Suday dinner. I was wanting to try out a few roses for the cake I will be trying out for Kelsie's birthday! Mine won't be quite like, I am Baker's rose cake, but it should be memorable. Down below are the kids at their class Valentine parties. Mrs. Aune is Maren's teacher and she is the absolute best down there at East Midvale Elementary. Hopefully, she won't mind the photo on this blog!! She asked me to take a few pics of the class since she forgot her camera!

39!

Josh had his 39th birthday! The week of his birthday Maren begged and begged to go to the dollar store. She cried every night that we couldn't go. Finally the night before his birthday, he took her down to it. When they got there, she told him that she was there to get his birthday gift. Isn't she the sweetest kid around! She made him go to the next isle and she picked out this candy bar for him and tried to hide it and buy it with him standing right next to her. He said it was enough to bring tears to his eyes. She ended up splitting it with him on his birthday adorned in her princess gown.

Kels thought it would be fun to adorn the rest of us in red lipstick! We found that we all look pretty hot in it!

I won't show the rest of our wide openings!

With his new job that we are very thankful for, Josh is required to wear a shirt, tie, and slacks everyday. Hence the new outfit!

Josh asked for a New York Cheescake for his birthday! My first attempt at it, I now know to cook it a bit longer in my oven. It took two and a half hours and was not quite firm in the middle, but it was very tasty. My oven cooks very slow, so I should have known. I prefer the Lion House cheesecake recipe to any other with the yummy sour cream topping, but this was so delicious. With fresh raspberry topping, it was the perfect treat to the steak, potato's, and veggies.

Josh had various helpers to blow out the 3 and 9 candles!
